Is crew change possible at BIK or other Iranian ports?

                  General information for crew change :

•  Requirements for embarkation and Immigration Formalities for all seafarers : only a copy of passport and seaman book is required for the  seaman visa which takes about two office working days to receive the seaman visa and issue OKTB(Ok To Board) letter.

              Which is the nearest airport for crew travel?

• The nearest airport for crew changes and time needed from airport to port : The arrival and departure of crew should be from IKA airport , Tehran .Domestic flights are from Mehrabad airport which is 40 Km away from IKA airport. Then from MehrAbad airport the crew will fly to Ahwaz or Abadan, which is about 100 Kms of taxi drive to BIK port.

Obviously ,the Off-signers undergo a reverse route . Please note, the seaman visa is in the form of an automation number , issued by Immigration police dept. .The visa remains valid for three day from the date of                arrival to IKA Airport .
